Cooking Instructions

These delicious classic Southern Fried Pork Chops are an easy and tasty meal to serve for any weeknight. It’s simple to bring a southern restaurant favorite to your dinner table with a little help from your pellet grill. Make sure to double the pork chops and recipe ingredients if you’re serving a crowd—this one will have your guests asking for seconds!

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the flour and Chophouse Steak seasoning and mix well. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the buttermilk and hot sauce. Place the pork chops and allow them to marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Once the pork chops have finished marinating, dip the meat into the flour and place on a wire rack-lined baking sheet in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  3. Fire up your pellet grill and set the temperature to 375°F. If you’re using a gas or charcoal grill, set it up for medium high heat. Place a cast iron pan on the grill. Pour two cups of oil into the cast iron pan and insert a temperature probe into the oil. Once the oil reaches 350°F, place the pork chops into the pan and fry until golden brown on each side, about 3 minutes per side.
  4. Remove and set on a baking sheet lined with paper towels. Drain for 5 minutes, then serve.
