A southern favorite with a twist, these Grilled Collard Greens are sure to become a favorite addition to your family’s dinner table. Serve these tangy greens with pulled pork or fried chicken for a traditional southern meal.
- Stack several collard green leaves together and roll tightly. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled greens into ribbons. Repeat with the remaining greens.
- Place the cut greens in a large mixing bowl and toss with olive oil, garlic, water, sliced jalapeno and Smokey Spicy Sweet Hot seasoning. Mix until everything is well coated. Place the collard greens in the center of a large piece of aluminum foil and fold the edges over the top of the foil so that it forms a packet and is completely sealed.
- Fire up your pellet grill and set the temperature to 350°F. If you’re using a gas or charcoal grill, set it up for medium heat. Place the packet of collards on the grill and grill for 10-12 minutes, flipping the packet a few times, until the greens are fragrant and tender.
- Remove the greens from the grill, toss with apple cider vinegar, and serve immediately.
